September 6th

Today is Monday. It started out with my semi-normal breakfast with the girls before my 9:30 Political Theory class. I skipped the usual english muffin and had to add milk because the hot sauce was too much without the bread.

Breakfast:

  • Egg whites w/ hot sauce
  • 1/2 grapefruit
  • 1/2 c. skim milk

I met Hannah and Katie for lunch after spending an hour after class doing work in the library. There was legitimately nothing good that was vegetarian and the line was so long at the grill for veggie burgers, so I made a salad off the salad bar. SO BORING, I know.

Lunch

  • Salad: romaine, tomatoes, red onion, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, cucumbers and green bell pepper
  • 2 french fries off Katie’s plate

After my Spanish class I rushed home to skype with my brother, sister in law and nephew that I lived with this summer. After, I made myself a yogurt mixture to eat while watching Weeds with my suitemates.

Afternoon Snack:

  • 1 container chobani fat free vanilla greek yogurt + 3 strawberries + 1/2 c. multigrain squares cereal

DINNER SUCKED TONIGHT. I had a sandwich because there was nothing else. A shitty day in the dining hall for sure. I couldn’t even get a good creeping session in because I had to rush to my Honors Program Student Committee meeting.

Dinner:

  • Hummus sandwich on wheat bread w/ lettuce, tomato + onion
  • Steamed mixed vegetables

After spending a couple more hours in the library, I just got home and made a snack. I should have stayed longer but I was really hungry.

Evening Snack:

  • 1/2 c. red grapes
  • 5 wasa crackers w/ 1 pouch 100 calorie guacamole and 2 tbs hummus

Daily Total: 1,304 calories

I didn’t have time to exercise today because of all my school work/classes. With rugby in season, I practice 4 days/wk and play on Saturdays, so I’m not going to stress if I can’t get in extra workouts everyday. Academics really is my number one priority.

Now…on to the 100 pages for International Political Economy I STILL HAVEN’T FINISHED. I have so much work this semester it’s actually unreal.

P.S. Has anyone bought baby carrots and got home to realize they are soggy? Is there anyway to salvage them or am I screwed out of 5 dollars?
